I recently bought a used car and the sales guy told me it was bought from the dealership and it was always serviced there, etc… he was reading off the service history because I was worried about it. Well a few weeks later and I find an old insurance card in the glove box showing the car insured in a whole other state which is a far cry from it spent its life local to the dealership.
