Agreed for car sale at with salesman and paid a deposit of £500, now he called and mentioned an extra admin fee?

Hi, This is based in London, I went to see a car and paid a deposit last week, picking the car up this weekend. The car salesman wrote the agreed car price on a piece of paper along with his signature. We weren’t told about any admin fees, and he called us mentioning an admin fee. In the UK that’s known as drip pricing, and breaks consumer laws. I just wanted to ask what recourse do I have here? I spoke to him and he wouldn’t budge, the manager says the admin fee was discussed with us when we paid our deposit, even though it wasn’t. Thanks submitted by…
