I bought a used car (my second one ever) a couple weeks ago, dealer said they would mail me the title, I looked it up and it seems this is pretty typical so I wasn’t concerned. Then what I received in the mail was a copy of the title. I didn’t even think to look at it closely before taking it to the DMV but they turned me away, because it is obviously a copy.
