Next week I’m going from Minneapolis to Chicago to (hopefully) purchase an EV. I would plan on paying for it via wire transfer from my bank. I’ve done a ton of research, test driven about 10 different vehicles here, and have narrowed it down to a 2023/24 Ioniq 5, ’23 EV6, or a ’24 Equinox (all awd). Almost all of them are at least $2-3k cheaper there for comparable mileage/condition. Taking the train down with my brother, and probably just going to take uber or public trans to and from a few dealerships. Have friends in the area so might borrow a car to drive to dealerships.
