Had a customer come in for some minor warranty work just before the 6 months warranty period. One of the works was paid for as it was for 2 coil springs. One we replaced as gesture of goodwill, the other they paid for (just the part). They asked if we can send them an invoice for the works. Should I send the invoice only for the springs? One spring that they paid for? Or both springs but state one was paid for and the other supplied by us with free labour included)?
