My fiancé went through the process of buying out the lease on our car in June. 2023 Honda HRV. The contractual buyout amount was ~$17k. The Honda dealership is based in Chicago, Illinois. He went directly to Honda Lease Trust to discuss the buyout. Total amount of the buyout including tax was $18,457.99. He decided to finance it, so he got rates from his bank.
