I’ve been in my position for a year at a GM dealer as a Service Advisor in nor cal and I’ve been able to get comfortable enough with the chaos to climb to the top of the leader boards consistently and handle some light admin stuff for new and used inventory while management is away or something. Suddenly (like within two weeks) the shop has lost 5 techs to what was previously a crew of 13 and everything is 3-4 days out.
