Essentially what the title says. I went around several dealerships yesterday looking for a used Accord or Civic to be my first car. I found two Accords I liked, both 2006, in very good condition, and under 150k miles. However, although I negotiated quite extensively, the best I could get was ~$7k for car + “dealer fee”, making it about $8k out the door with tax, title, registration- one of them was $7800, the other $8200 (the $8200 appeared to be in a bit newer condition and came with a 6- month warranty, although I’ve heard dealer warranties are basically useless).
