Are job transfers to other locations (like in other cities) a thing in car sales?

I am considering starting a job at a luxury silicon valley dealership (luxury as in MBZ, BMW, Audi, Lexus), but I am going to be moving to Orange County in a couple of years. Do you basically have to start all over when you move or are there ever some “job transfers” for roles like finance managers? I guess it depends on your role. Probably pretty different for sales vs finance managers?
