My husband and I purchased a Toyota RAV4 from a dealership in Austin, TX on June 6, 2026. The vehicle was advertised on the dealership’s website and TrueCar for around $29,000 before tax. During the purchase, we were told we had to pay an additional $2,000 for a “Vanguard Protection” package, even though it was not included in the advertised price.
