looking for some advice, I went to purchase a 2025 escape PHEV from a ford dealership that was listed as reduced price on their website. Negotiated an out the door price and he advised me to sell my car private as I had received a higher offer than he could match. Paid the deposit and was told a finance manager would reach out shortly. I sold my car the next day as I had discussed with the dealer but later the next day the dealership reached out saying that due to an active recall the car can no longer be sold. currently they are trying to source me another car…
