Do dealerships hire on spot? How long did it take them to reach out to you?

I’ve heard people usually get hired on the spot, but if you didn’t how long did it take them to reach back out to you? I went to an interview Friday, it’s Monday now & they haven’t reach back out. Is there a good chance I may not be hired?
