Hi everyone,
I just bought a new black Kia Carnival from Oregon. I live/drive in Fremont. I currently have the official Oregon temporary paper permit (transit tag) valid until late 2026, which is taped inside my rear window.
Since Oregon only provides one temporary tag(inside the rear window) and no front temporary plate and no rear temp plate too
I am worried about getting pulled over by Bayarea Police. I actually emailed the PD directly to ask if this setup is legal while I wait for my permanent metal plates, but I haven’t received an email back yet.
In the meantime, does anyone have experience driving a brand new car with an out-of-state single temporary permit?
