How does your dealership handle vehicle movements when staff are tied up?

I’m researching dealership vehicle logistics and trying to understand how stores actually handle off site movements. For people working in dealerships, what happens when you need a customer car picked up/dropped off, a dealer trade completed, or a vehicle moved between stores and your normal porter/shuttle staff are already tied up? What’s usually the biggest headache?
