Dealership ignored my email documenting damage to my trade in. They accepted the trade in without looking at it again…signed off on the deal we traded keys….I took the new car home. My loan has gone through. However, they have sent a pretty forceful email demanding an insurance claim or they will flat cancel the deal. Is it normal for them to threaten so strongly even though their legal ability to do so is pretty shaky? I thought aggressive car dealers bluffing was just a stereotype.
