A week ago my mom‘s 2026 Volkswagen Taos didn’t start and gave multiple errors upon trying to start it up. This continued for at least a half hour and the vehicle was not drivable/engine wouldn’t run. It gave errors regarding the braking system and the security features, among other things. The car started after an hour or so, but the check engine light stayed on. We were, however, not comfortable driving it based on all of the braking errors, etc., that it had flashed initially.
