Looking at a 2018 Tiguan AWD with 70k miles on it from a VW dealer (please, not interested in your opinions on the car itself). I have been working things up remotely and the finance manager called me to go over service contracts, which I expressed interest in. He’s quoting me $4977 for a 5yr/60k powertrain service contract, $250 deductible. Am I crazy for thinking that’s way too high, or am I being out of touch and maybe a little foolish?
