I have been in the business for only a month, but I haven’t made any progress in my sales, or even get any customers to contact me back. It doesn’t help that I can’t do a simple phone call without panicking about what to say, or that I am extremely shy & awkward when talking to new people.
I was exclusively in the food business before all this, and I feel stuck and lost and confused all at the same time. There’s so much to remember & by the time I do, my customer never wants to work with me again. I have thoughts that this won’t work out, or that I will never be good enough. I just feel so defeated, because this is my favorite career & I have been wanting to pursue this for a long, long time.
