I currently work at a smaller family owned dealer for Japanese cars. I’m between average and good, I’ve been salesman of the month a couple times but I would like the status of selling Lexus or BMW. I went to both stores and introduced myself and kind of blew me off, took my application and gave me a card and said they had way too many salespeople and to come back and try again and keep in touch. The Lexus store said to fill out an automotive technician application so that they can have my sales resume. I was kinda shocked both times. I’ve been to the BMW store twice…
