Got a call from a manager where I bought my car. They have some sort of incentive going around for certain car models from Hyundai and they said they would like to inspect the car in person to either offer a cash payment for over its current KBB value or over a cash value over that to apply to another car.
TBH, I am young so I have never heard of this. Does this thing actually happen and what are the odds they are going to waste my time or screw with me. Car is in great shape, its an Elantra N with 23K miles, I bought it with about 15 or so miles on it. I owe $18k on it, KBB is right around $29K on it I believe. Assuming I would need some deal that puts me into a new car for about what I owe now or less to make it make sense?
