Want to preface this with I’m kind of a dumbass. So essentially 2.5 years ago I leased a bmw i4. During the lease I made a couple modifications to the car including a matte black vinyl wrap, but I also dyed the interior of the car to all factory bmw black (it was black with some red accents and stitching when I got it). I was hoping this is okay because I assumed it would increase the final value of the car when I go to return it. But I read my lease and see any exterior or interior modifications need written approval from the dealership so they can get me on that.
Am I right in assuming the dealership won’t care since the appraisal could be higher than what was originally on the vehicle. Or is there a good chance I get charged for the dyeing of the red accents and vinyl wrap.
