Hi guys, I’m new to car buying so I’m sorry if my question is silly. I bought (am financing) a new car Kia Sportage Hybrid about 1 mo ago (8/31/25) and have been waiting for my permanent car license plate to arrive in the mail. I expected this to happen because my parents bought 2 new cars in the last couple years and both times had new plates mailed home. But that typically only took a couple weeks.
