I’m currently working at a dealership as a porter/lot attendant, and I’m interested in moving into an automotive sales position. I’m currently attending college part-time. My classes are on Mondays and Thursdays, so those are the only days I would need off. I’m available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and I can work Saturdays consistently. I’m 19 and don’t have previous sales experience, but I already have dealership experience and have a strong interest in cars. Would dealerships generally be willing to hire someone in my situation for a sales position, or would needing Mondays and Thursdays off be a major problem?
